Upon graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology in NY, Helen’s first phase of her professional career began at IBM (NY) as a Procurement Specialist. When IBM offered multiple job opportunities in several different parts of the country, the RTP area moved to the top of Helen and her husband’s list of places to live. They were attracted by this area’s multiple industries, strong academic institutions and schools, healthcare, family activities, and proximity to the mountains and beach.  They have called this area home for 24 years now.

Helen took some time off to raise her growing family and over the years has volunteered at her church, in her children’s classrooms and as PTA President, as well as the Treasurer of a local figure skating club. After being out of the workforce for several years and as her youngest child was finishing her high school sophomore year, Helen jumped back in to the work force with a career change in Real Estate as the compliance manager for DeRonja Real Estate and as a Broker Associate.
